The Sonic Environment

The Study of the Sonic Environment (SE) as a mass of audio emissions coming from Radio, Television, Recordings and Performances – products of the Music Chain - needs the integration of music disciplines (Pedagogy, Musicology and Technology). SE models, measures and maintains sonic environments in defined territories (over time plans) to moderate sustainability of traditional and indigenous musical cultures and systems, while attempting to stay relevant to the world itself.
